Matt, Katie, Barkley and Penny/Abilene Family Photographer

It gives me great joy to be able to photograph my daughter Katie and her husband, Matt, along with our grand-dogs, Barkley and Penny!  They live in Sherman Oaks, CA which is WAY TOO FAR AWAY!  But, it’s such a blessing to have them home for two weeks over the Christmas holidays.  Penny (the red head) is their newest addition so obviously, they needed an updated family photo for their Christmas card!

Lovely family of women that I had the real honor to photograph before Christmas.  Four generations!  Such an awesome, memorable time for them and now they’ll have this real treasured portrait to pass down to this adorable baby when she grows up.  This type of session really defines why I do (and love) what I do!

Beautiful winter day and a beautiful family.  They were so patient as we waited for the sun to set low in the sky so to capture that beautiful evening glow in their family portrait.  Soon, you’ll be seeing their older daughter’s senior session samples posted here, so stay tuned!

Instead of telling something wonderful about this sweet family, I decided to post their fun Christmas card!  I think you’ll be able to see how sweet, fun and loving they are just by viewing samples on their card.  Family and friends will love getting this card in the mail!

Traveled to Graham a few weeks ago to photograph one of my favorite families.  I only see them once a year and it always takes me back a bit how the girls have grown!  It was a beautiful Fall day and we took advantage of all the leaves in their own yard!

I’ve never photographed a more beautiful family.  Precious beyond measure.  I’m not going to sugar coat this blog.  Sweet Liam, Matt and Amy’s five year old son, is very sick with leukemia.  We traveled to Fort Worth last week to photograph them at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens which isn’t far from Cooks Children’s Hospital which has become their second home for the last month.  It was a bit chilly, but Liam was very brave to tough it out.  I think he was hoping for CHEESE PIZZA when we were done!  (that was the only thing that made him perk up when I pointed the camera at him!)  Look at the beautiful spirit in Liam’s eyes, can’t you see it!  His sweet sister, Mary, was just as cute as can be and enjoyed her time in the park finding huge leaves to have fun with.  In one hour, I fell in love with Matt, Amy, Liam and Mary.  They need your prayers right now.  And, if you feel compelled to want to donate to a special fund set up for them, contact me and I’ll get you that information.

Thanksgiving weekend was a wonderful time to photograph so many families.  Families big and small and this one is big!  They are from the Abilene area and wanted gifts for the holidays and Christmas cards, etc. We had a beautiful day and they were a lot of fun.  I especially love the last one of all the grandchildren!
